Blue Card

Blue Card

As an active volunteer with Red Lion Hockey Club, it it is a requirement that you hold either:

  • An active Blue Card, or
  • A valid Exemption Card

This card must be linked to Red Lion Hockey Club to ensure compliance with Queensland legislation, which requires that anyone working or volunteering with children holds a valid Blue Card.

Applying for a volunteer Blue Card is free and can be completed online:

  1. Prepare your ID: You will need a Customer Reference Number (CRN) from Queensland Transport and Main Roads. This may be your driver's licence number.
  2. Visit the Blue Card Services online portal and register using your CRN.
  3. Once you have registered, provide Red Lion with your Blue Card online account number, full name, and date of birth so we can link you to the club.
  4. Once you have been linked, log back into the online portal and complete your Volunteer Blue Card application.
